Lee Zulauf is the most caring and thoughtful teacher. He is an advocate for his students, families and teammates. You can hear Lee singing to his class and playing on the playground with them. Lee received a grant from Dominion Energy to create our garden in the back of the school, and now all students can enjoy the butterflies that visit each year. Lee has earned the Virginia Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts 2023 Conservation Education Teacher of the Year Award, which is a well-earned recognition for his work and passion for bringing nature to all students at Bon Air. We are so lucky to have Lee!
